Location: Port Orange, FL

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, operational and reporting activities. As a direct report to the CEO, the CFO will also be involved in supporting presentations to the Board of Directors and will work closely with equity stakeholders, lenders and other members of the senior management team.

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis – Provide complete and accurate financial information for the company to satisfy the needs of management, owners, lenders and regulatory agencies
  •  Monthly Close – Manage the closing process to ensure a timely and accurate close of the general ledger on a monthly basis. Record all transactions in accordance with GAAP and determine appropriate treatment when necessary
  • Operational IT project oversight- Oversee the finance project pipelines with IT project manager. Create and implement new accounting projects and oversee project pipeline delivery dates with IT project manger to enhance proprietary software’s reporting and analysis capabilities
  • Operational Oversight of Benefits Administration- Oversight of benefits administration accounting employees. Consult with General Counsel on compliance issues related to any special benefit and payroll state specific requirements, plan requirements, and annual data reporting needs
  • Planning and Budgeting – Lead monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting process
  • Cash Management & Forecasting – Oversee all cash accounts and cash flow forecasting
  • Banking Relations – Aid in day-to-day interaction with banks. Contribute to compliance reporting and covenant analysis
  • Audit – Coordinate with accounting firm to complete annual audit
  • Taxes – Coordinate information requests for federal and state returns from tax accounting firm
  • Process Improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement in the company’s accounting, benefits and reporting processes
  • Leadership – Provide leadership toward additional value-added activities and support operational and departmental excellence. Maintain honest and ethical conduct at all times


  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
  • Very strong technology skills
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in public audit or corporate finance/accounting
  • Experience in middle market M&A required
  • CPA preferred
  • Healthcare expertise preferred, but not required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience; strong Excel expertise is critical
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills; ability to present concisely and with detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to board or other outside partners
  • Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with the proper sense of urgency
  • Must have a positive attitude and be self motivated
  • Moderate travel required
