School Speech Pathology Travel Jobs in Illinois Living in Illinois

The state of Illinois has a lot to offer speech pathologists traveling here for a school based contract position. For one, you’ll be there long enough to do more than the casual tourist. This opens up a ton of possibilities for more extensive exploration into one of America’s greatest states.

For history lovers, the state of Illinois is a treasure trove of historically significant landmarks and locations. Architectural aficionados will appreciate visiting Oak Park, where the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed and built his own home along with over 20 others.

This makes the entire neighborhood a sprawling museum of the iconic architect’s work. Visitors can even tour Wright’s former home, which is now the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio.

Of course, any visit to Illinois would not be complete without at least a day trip to the state’s most famous city, Chicago. Here, you can soak in all the Windy City has to offer in terms of culture, cuisine, and entertainment.

Sample a slice of Chicago style pizza at the famous Lou Malnati’s pizzeria. Then take a stroll through Millennium Park, home to the amazing Cloud Gate sculpture as well as beautiful Lurie Garden.

Of course, one of the most exciting things about travel is discovering your own adventures. In Illinois, there will be plenty of opportunities to do just that.
