Setting Spotlight

Home Health

During a home health assignment a PT will treat patients in their places of residence. This setting does lack larger facilities and teams which new grads may find daunting at first. Home health, however, does teach PTs who are starting out a great deal about independence, confidence, and personal patient care very quickly. Many new grads also appreciate the diversity of patient populations and diagnoses they treat on these assignments.
