Nice to Meet You!I am one of the Senior Career Consultants in our South Dakota office. As someone who has worked in the medical field my whole life and loves to travel as well, my favorite part of my career is hearing about all of the adventures my travelers have along the way. From the amazing patients and staff they meet to the personal adventures they encounter, nothing makes me happier than hearing how much my travelers love to travel. I love connecting with new people on a daily basis and guiding them through the travel world while they do what they love to do. If you are looking to take your career on the road and experience things you would never experience in a perm position, I’d love to help make that dream a reality!
Fun FactI was born and raised in South Dakota and was fortunate enough to work alongside many skilled PTs, OTs, and SLPs in my past career in the sports medicine field as an athletic trainer. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and kids going camping, watching sports, doing photography, scrapbooking, and traveling.
What My Travelers Have to Say
- As a new practitioner starting travel therapy, Shanna has been nothing but the best. She is supportive, reassuring, and encouraging. One of the best qualities about Shanna is that she understands her travelers and stops at nothing to get them what they need. I am still in my first placement and, already, she has bent over backwards to ensure that I have been successful and taken care of. She is passionate about her job and her travelers. She is very quick to respond to me and always makes herself available (even when I was in Africa attempting to interview for positions with limited internet connection). This is essential when searching and applying for positions. I appreciate her and everything that she has done for me and have already recommended her to fellow professionals looking to travel! She is truly one of a kind.
- Shanna is an extremely supportive and attentive recruiter. As a relatively new mom, I have been so comforted by Shanna's complete understanding of the balance between family needs and career ambitions. She has always met me exactly where I'm at.
- First let me start off by saying Shanna is such a blessing to me as a travel therapist. I am new to the travel world and have nothing but great things to say about how Shanna has made this new journey in my therapy career nothing short of amazing. I always feel like a priority to her and Ashley Barton my needs are always taken care of. I just love how she supports me both professionally and personally. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
