Sean is from the small town of DeRuyter, NY, located about 30 miles south of Syracuse. He earned his BS in Biomedical Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) before going on to earn his doctorate in physical therapy at Nazareth College. Sean knew early on in PT school that he wanted to be a traveling therapist, and to get a little taste he traveled to Seattle, WA and Denver, CO for clinical rotations. He fell in love with the travel lifestyle--new people, new environments, new food. Since graduating in May of 2017, Sean has had several travel jobs in NY (upstate and downstate), MD, AZ, and SC. While he prefers outpatient orthopedic settings, he does not shy away from other settings and has worked in both Skilled Nursing and Inpatient Rehab. Sean's favorite aspect of travel therapy is the opportunity to build connections with people across the country. He feels that mentorship is the key to success for a new travel PT. He and his girlfriend, Julie, travel as a PT team. They are currently in Seneca, SC, and are hoping to head west for their next adventure!
