Traveler of The Month: Nate Kingsbury
For October we’ve decided to feature our awesome PTA: Nate Kingsbury! His recruiter Andrea was happy to nominate him because of his great personality and flexible attitude. She had this to say:
Nate is a phenomenal traveler because of his dedication and passion for his trade, along with his openness and flexibility with each placement. Honored to have him on my team!
Nate and his wife, Andrea, love exploring and going on adventures while he is on assignment. You can often find them hiking near their temporary housing or even zip lining. Keep reading to get to know Nate a little better!

Why or how did you get into therapy? I got into therapy when I worked as a Rehab Tech for two years in a skilled nursing facility. I enjoyed working alongside other therapists and working with the geriatric population and decided to pursue a career as a PTA.
What is your favorite thing about being a therapist? My favorite thing about being a PTA is having the opportunity to get to know my patients on a more personal level, seeing them improve their functional mobility, and to see them return home.
Favorite travel location and why? My favorite place to travel has been Alamogordo, NM, because my wife, Andrea and I were able to live in a beautiful, small mountain town called Cloudcroft. We have enjoyed having numerous outdoor activities and taking in the gorgeous scenery. Besides TX, I am licensed in NM, CO, ID, OR, and we are looking forward to checking out more pretty places!
If you could have a superpower what would it be? I would love to have superhuman speed, so I could win marathons, and play an epic tennis match against myself.
What are some of your hobbies? My hobbies are: hanging out with my beautiful wife, cooking, shooting pool, golfing, hiking, going to movies, and trying new restaurants.
